Last week our very own Cydney Curtis and Callie Umbarger were asked to join the IMESD in speaking to Oregon's Educator Advancement Council, which funds the Regional Educator Network. They spoke to members from across the state about the Mentorship program the IMESD has put into place. They highlighted mentoring in our region and the new teacher supports that the IMESD has available. Cydney is currently mentoring Callie through her first year teaching here in Helix. Both have said it is great to have this program in place.
