To celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month (September 15 - October 15), Helix Charter School's sixth and seventh graders in the exploratory literature and language class dived into the rich cultural tradition of piñatas. Not only did they craft their own colorful piñatas, but they also got to unleash their excitement by smashing them to pieces, making the learning experience both fun and unforgettable!
