Parent teacher conferences scheduled for Thursday, April 2nd (3:30-8:00pm) and Friday, April 3rd will be conducted via phone during the COVID-19 school closures. Teachers should have set a conference date/time with you prior to Spring Break. If you do not have a scheduled conference or do not remember what day or time, it is, please email your child’s teacher. Teachers will call you at your scheduled time and discuss third quarter grades and any diagnostic reports they may have. Those documents should have been mailed to you a few weeks ago. Please have those to refer to during your PTC.

Good evening. The green 12 month school calendar has two errors on it for February. The corrections are: this Friday, Jan. 31st is an early dismissal (12:23pm) and the Crab Feed is February 27, not the 20th. The February newsletter has the correct dates for both those events. Thanks, Darrick Cope

The Helix School District took the time this morning to remember the terrorist attack on Sept. 11, 2001. We all gathered at the flag pole and stood at attention as the flag was raised to half-mast. We played the Star Spangled banner and a few words were said about this day.
